Chapter 16 An Involvement Certified by Family
Listening to her words, Justin turned to be vigilant.
Seeing him sitting still on the sofa, Jane irritated him with a smile, "What are you afraid of?"
It was not a challenge to amuse a 12-year-old boy. Justin stood up, put down his IPad immediately, and said, "I have nothing to be afraid of."
Though Justin said so, he was ready for something scary inside when he stood in front of the box. He consoled himself secretly, "Don't be afraid! Don't!" Then, he untied the bowknot on the lid and opened it.
There was neither something scary inside, nor picture of flesh or blood. Instead, it was... very cute?
Jane bought two teacup puppies for him. Seeing his intent eyes on the dogs, she smiled, "I see you have many animals, so I think you'll like them."
