Chapter 183 If He Doesn't, Someone Will
After walking out of Edward's private room, Jane walked across the corridor quickly and took a deep breath, trying to calm herself down and be rational. It was she who made a fool of herself, she couldn't blame him for being angry. He was right, it was none of her business. And she was Justin's teacher, not his.
Coming to her senses, Jane stood in the corridor calmly. And after thinking about it for a moment, she decided to make some phone calls. Since Edward didn't want to help, she would.
She first called Jennifer whose father's business also involved import and export trade. Jane asked her to ask if there was any chance to cooperate.
Jennifer repiled tersely, saying that she would talk to her father face to face when she came home in the evening. Hanging up the phone, Jane called Charles.
The phone got through. "Charles, you've got a wide connection. Is there anyone who is engaged in import and export trade of the building materials which are in stock and can be sent at any time?" Jane asked.
Charles knew that Jane did not owe a favor easily. He even didn't ask who she was working for and just said directly, "Okay, I'll ask it for you."
