Chapter 51: Edward's Humor
Perfumed clothes, gorgeous hair, and soft singing. Their hands that were playing the instruments seemed to be magical, and they were all elegant and seductive. Jane could not help but sigh in her heart, "These rich people know how to enjoy their lives!"
It was hard to ignore beautiful ladies. Every man stared at them with keen and excited eyes. Jane stole a glance at Edward, trying to see if he was infatuated with them as well. She didn't do this due to her curiosity. It was because of Edward. He seemed to be one of these rich men because his family was powerful, but he was a real personality. It was hard to please him. Therefore, others didn't dare to flatter him rashly so as not to suffer.
At this time, everyone was drinking and enjoying the show, but Edward didn't say a word. He put out half of the cigarette in the ashtray, got up, and left the table.
Amy had been staring at Edward. When he walked away, a touch of disappointment and doubt flashed through her eyes. She didn't know whether it was because her performance was not enjoyable or because he was not interested.

He was panting by the toilet when he heard someone knock on the door. He turned off the tap with irritation and said in a deep voice, "What's wrong?"
