Chapter 30 The Wage of Sin Is Self-hurting
Jane's heart was seen through by him. She didn't know whether to deny it or acquiesce. The keychain on the bag was like a hot potato. She didn't want to accept it, but refusing at this moment was equivalent to slapping him on his face. After thinking about it, she said, "Thank you, Mr. Smith."
Edward sent her back to the company at about 8:00 in the morning. It was the rush hour. His black Bugatti was parked on the side of the road. It just took a few seconds for Jane to open the door and get out of the car, however, some eagle-eyed people saw it was Edward that drove the car.
The people in Forward Education have never seen Edward before. Since Jane had been transferred, they have seen him twice. Jane's colleagues went upstairs while texting to their acquaintances in the office, "Guess who I saw? Jane Cooper! Edward sent her here!"
The message came back quickly, "Really???!!"
"It's true. I'll wager that Jane will be on her seat within five minutes."
Of course, there was more than one person who saw Jane getting out of Edward's car. So, when Jane walked out of the elevator and went upstairs, all the people in the office knew that Edward sent her here. Where could they come from in the early morning? From home or the hotel?
