Chapter 13 Decent on the Outside, Sad on the Back
Edward went downstairs in his bathrobe after taking a bath. Sam handed him a glass of ice-cold juice as usual. He took a sip and asked casually, "Is there anything wrong upstairs?"
Sam responded, "No, it's pretty quiet."
Sitting on the sofa, Edward said calmly, "Did she faint from fright?"
Sam, who was standing by the side, replied aloud, "It shouldn't be. In the past, if the tutor fainted from fright, the young master would call us in."
Edward didn't speak again. After preparing some desserts for him, Sam silently left to work. As the minutes passed, Edward would occasionally glance at his phone. More than forty minutes later, it was still quiet upstairs.
He didn't kown it was expected or unexpected, but he just thought she had broken the record.
