Chapter 230 Nothing Can Be Done
Outside the door, the boy yelled the full name of his sister who was ten years older than him. With Jane by her side, Eloise dared to reply to the boy loudly, "Don't disturb me. Won't you do it by yourself?"
Rhett shouted back even louder, "You shall see!"
Eloise didn't budge an inch. The boy would just tell her mother at most, which she was used to.
Jane said, "You have to refuse him, and you can refuse your friends and relatives around you. Just tolerating will only make him feel that you are easily bullied and that you have to do anything for him."
Jane's words "you have to do anything for him" touched Eloise's raw nerves. Ever since her brother was born, her parents had always said to her, "You are the older sister, so you have to humor your brother. He is still young. What does he know?"
However, Rhett had told her the year before, "I just want to bully you, and you deserve it. Mommy and daddy only love me."
