Chapter 10: He Was Hard To Deal With
Jane knew why the receptionist was so excited one minute and two seconds later. When she opened the door of the reception room and saw Sofia looking at her with a shocked and uneasy face, she sensed that this matter might be big. She immediately glanced at the person sitting in front of Sofia. The sofa covered most of his figure. Only half of the man's neck and the back of his head could be seen.
But that was enough. Jane had recognized him.
When she walked around the sofa to him, she looked at the man in white shirt and black trousers, smiled, nodded and said respectfully, "Hello, Mr. Smith."
Edward didn't lift his eyelids. There was no expression on his handsome face that many women were infatuated with. He didn't reply.
Sofia said, "Miss Cooper, next time if you reach an agreement with a client, you should report it to me as soon as you come to the company..." While talking, she observed Edward's expression secretly. Although he didn't say a word, she was scared for no reason, so she added, "Don't keep the client waiting like this."
Jane said, "I heard that we just need to report before signing a formal contract. Is it necessary to report before signing a probation contract?"
