Chapter 6: She Had No Choice But To Speak To Him
At half past seven, Jane and Jennifer went to a forest hotel in the suburbs. They got off the car one after another. Jane wore black shirts, black trousers and a pair of black pointy leather shoes, while Jennifer wore a white strapless dress and a pair of strappy high heels.
As soon as Jennifer got out of the car, she stretched out to hold Jane's arm in a natural way. They walked side by side, and she whispered, "Remember to hold me."
Jane said blandly, "Jennifer, take off your sunglasses. The road in front of you is wide."
Jennifer took off her sunglasses and looked aside casually. She seemed to have just found that Jane was wearing black clothes, and she raised her eyebrows and said, "Why do you wear like a bodyguard?"
Jane said, "Because you're the boss and I'm just a second banana."
Jennifer raised her chin, looked at the front and said, "My father actually dares to look down on my new company. When I took the invitation from him, he said I must be disappointed tonight. I haven't started my business yet, but he advised me to close the company. What's wrong with him? He's afraid I'll become rich very quickly and surpass him."
