Desiree's POV
I heard my phone ring and I answered it immediately while Alexander was inside the shower,
It's Enrique who just called me.
"Hi, Enrique, why did you call? Something happened?" I ask him and my voice is soft and calm because I want him to feel that I am happy that he calls and doesn't have any problem at all.
"I am fine, I just called to say I am here outside of your house waiting for you to come out. Are you free to have dinner with me tonight? Or to ride in a carousel, I know you like it a lot." He said, his voice was so excited to tell me about his plan. Then I sighed, he spoke again, "Then we go to the cinema, let's watch a movie together, I think you will love it. So are you in?"
I bit my lower lip and smile vanished, "sorry, but I can't. I am not in my house today. I am at the ball because I am invited to attend the ball. Sorry Enrique, maybe some other time."
"Oh…" I can hear the disappointment in his voice, "well, I am always here…I will be waiting even if it takes a thousand years. Just remember I am always free and can make time even if I'm busy." he said happily.
