Desiree's POV
"Mom, Patricia will be coming today?" I ask my mom but she hasn't hear me so I raise my voice. "Mom, Patricia will be coming today?" because my mom is so busy now and is now cleaning and preparing the house, she even put some blue or pink fabric on the table. "Yes, with her fiance, she will have a baby girl or a baby boy?"
"I don't know mom, but I hope the baby is going to be a healthy baby. That's what matters right?" I said as I was preparing my bag and putting some essential things inside.
"Hmm, yeah. Of course."
I hug my mom from the back, "Why are you always good to her? You are not even her mother." I said.
She laughs at my questions and says, "Because she needs a mother's love, her own mother doesn't even give her the love that she deserves. That's why your father asked me to be a mother to her. I love her also, she is kind and a nice child, I am happy to be her mother." My mom replied to me, I sighed and released my embrace to her, my mom turned around to face me, "Okay, mom, I am happy that your love for her is unconditional, I just realised that she deserve to be my sister…I realised I've been a bad sister to her sometimes but she never minds it, she just smile at me. That's why I like her." I said.
"Thank you, Desiree…for being kind to your sister now."
