Desiree's POV
I decided to get out of my room after a week of being isolated from anyone, and I just happened to see Alexander outside, sitting at his desk with his eyes on his computer. I clear my throat so he can hear me, and when he sees me, he smiles.
His smile brightens my day and makes me feel something I can't explain: I feel happy and delighted just seeing him smile.
"Hi…" I greet him with a smile on my face.
He stop what his doing and he walk towards me, he pulled my hand and walk me to the kitchen to make some hot coffee for me. "Good morning, did you sleep well?"
I nod my head slowly and mumbled, "Hmm, yes."
I leaned against the sink, taking the coffee in his hand as he offered it to me, blowing it out before taking a sip because it was still hot. "I think I'll pay a visit to my family today... what do you think?"
