When I arrived home late at night, my body was exhausted from the day's effort.
Although Roberts Employer is a terrific company with excellent perks, I dislike how my coworkers approach me as if I were their great servant.
I take off my shoes and massage my ankle, then take off my blazer and am shocked when the doorbell rings. Oh, that's fantastic; I'm about to retire for the night when the doorbell rings constantly.
I step outdoors to check who this obnoxious individual is.
When I opened the gate, I saw Alexander carrying a large paper bag that looked like it came from a high-end store where he buys these items. "Can you tell me what you're doing?" I inquire as I examine the items he has brought.
He says, "Can you just open the gate wider and allow me in?" like a boss.
I open the gate wider and he walks inside of my house like he lives here. I just rolled my eyes and closed the gate again.
