Desiree's POV
I'm currently at my sister's house, where she's grilling barbecue pork outside her garden gate and some of her neighbor's kids are eating some of her food. She's almost ready to be a wife now. It makes me glad to see children enjoying their food while they play.
They are so carefree, have no pain, and simply play and have fun together.
"Do you remember how fun it is that time flies? It's like, I remember from yesterday when we were just kids, having fun and being enemies over one doll that you think is pretty and I think isn't pretty, that was the only problem we had, but look at us now, we are old and grown-ups facing the realities of life."
My sister smiles as she places her belongings on the table. "Is there anything I need to know about you?" she asks as she walks me to the empty seat. What exactly is going on? Is Alexander causing you any more pain? When I see that person again, I swear to God, I'm going to beat him." Patricia remarked as she throws a fist in the air, I laugh at her reaction and I shake my head, "No, he is okay but we are not fine. I didn't listen to him again, maybe the problem is me, I never listen to him."
"Yeah… Take it easy, it's still hot, you need to eat that," Patricia said as she handed me a slice of barbecue pork. "From now on, we must concentrate on the lighter side of life and consider the positive aspects of it. So, if your child is a girl, what's her name?"
"If my baby is a girl, I want to call her…" I think about names but I can't think of one.
