My day started great, I felt good, Ethan came early and we talked about business, he also talked about the dinner party we were invited to, it was going to happen that night and I was planning on taking Laura as my plus one while Ethan was planning on taking Tracy as his plus one
We decided to take them out for lunch and then take them shopping after lunch but everything became weird during breakfast.
First, I pulled out a chair beside me for Laura in the dining but then she went ahead to sit beside Tracy on the chair opposite mine, then I filled a glass with orange juice for her but she collected the glass of juice Tracy filled for her instead.
I tried catching her eyes to know what was going on but she ignored me, I looked towards Ethan for help but he was looking frustrated too.
"Are you boys alright?" My mum asked and we nodded.
I continued trying all I could but Laura didn't spare me a glance, not even once.
