I thought I had died, everywhere hurt so much that I wished I could just become numb and not feel anything.
I decided to concentrate on something other than pain, I thought about what happened, and when a picture of Laura tied up flashed through my head, I opened my eyes immediately.
"Laura," I said and the doctors moved closer to me.
"Sir, how are you feeling?" One of the doctors asked and I frowned.
"I'm fine, where is my wife?" I asked trying to sit up but the pain I felt forced me to lie back down.
"Careful sir, she's outside, we will let her in once we are done attending to you," he said and I sighed.
