For eight days Liam was in a coma, the doctor said he hit his head very hard, thankfully he was using the seat belt so the injury was not bad, and there was no internal bleeding, he was in the ICU for those eight days and when the doctor was certain he was stable, he told the nurses to transfer him to a private ward.
They were doing that when Liam finally opened his eyes.
"He's awake," one of the nurses said and I moved closer to see that Liam's eyes were really opened, I made a move to touch him but he moved his hand away from me, that action cut deep into my heart hurting me but I knew I deserved it.
"What are you doing here?" he asked frowning.
"Um, I...I was..."
"How are you feeling Mr. Miller, do you know who she is?" One of the nurses asked to save me.
