Chapter 114
"After we got married, Leila quit her job and had no income. She relied on me to support her. And I bought all the stuff in the house. How could she possibly divide property with me?" Patrick said arrogantly, "Once I divorce her, she'll be kicked out of my house. She'll get nothing."
Leila told him last time that if they divorced, she asked him to give her back the money she spent on the renovations.
Patrick also stressed to her that he wouldn't give her a penny if she asked for the money.
And the reason why he did not divorce Leila was that his son was still young and needed to be taken care of.
For now, he would consider Leila as a free babysitter. Moreover, he didn't have to worry about his son being abused by a hired babysitter.
Isabelle wanted to remind Patrick that his savings were marital property and that Leila would get half of his savings once Leila sued Patrick. And if Leila found out about the money he spent on her and filed a lawsuit against her, Isabelle would have to return the money and gifts to Leila.
