Chapter 21 A Feeling of Reliance
Teresa didn't sleep well that night. She kept having dreams and looked languid when she woke up the next morning.
As usual, she took the clothes she had washed last night to the balcony.
She was surprised to find that a long steel bar had been installed. She could hang the clothes there. There was also a variety of plants on the large balcony. Most of them were blooming or budding. Big or small, the petals had many layers.
She was instantly attracted to those potted plants.
After putting the clothes on the hangers, she assembled the flower stand she had bought yesterday morning and placed the plants on it.
When it was done, she felt a gaze, abruptly raised her head, and met Hubert's dark, penetrating eyes.
