Chapter 36 Passion Reignited
The words of the old principal numbed Jiang Bin! He had thought that after his hospitalization, his students would rebel and break all the rules created by him. He was aware of their pent-up depression.
But things were the opposite. While he was considering giving up, the students made changes. The slight change somehow instilled hope in Jiang Bin's desperate soul.
Sitting by the bed, the old principal carefully tucked Jiang Bin in and said, "Success never happens overnight. It's the superposition of countless failures. A dream is cheap when you can achieve it easily."
Jiang Bin turned back, and the old principal continued, "Have you reflected on the cause of your failure?"
Jiang Bin frowned, leaned on the head of the bed, thought for a moment, and replied, "First, the students are exhausted at school and set themselves free at home. There isn't time for them to consolidate and enhance their knowledge. Their effort isn't converted into success. Second, there is a problem with my teaching method. Cramming leads to indigestion for those underperformers."
"See? That's progress. You've drawn a lesson and took a step toward success." The old principal smiled, pushed his thick glasses, and continued to ask, "And?"
