Chapter 22 The Precious Friendship
Gao Yuan wondered if he was tricked again. Looking at the receding bus, Gao Yuan wanted to chase it. He wanted to ask Dajiang whether he didn't hear the prompt, or he deliberately abandoned him. But Gao Yuan's feet were badly hurt. He couldn't even walk, let alone chase the bus.
But he had arrived at the orthopedic hospital. He might visit his mother first. Dajiang couldn't escape, and Gao Yuan could get the 600 yuan back sooner or later.
He was in the hospital once when he was a child. With the memory of the location, Gao Yuan reached the lobby of the hospital with difficulty, leaning on a stick in one hand.
He asked for his mother at the information desk, but the nurse said there was no such person.
"My mother is Ma Junlan. She broke her back and came here for treatment. I heard that she stayed in the hospital," Gao Yuan explained, refusing to leave.
"Go back to the inpatient department to have a check. The orthopedic department is on the 8th floor. We can't find any information about your mother here," the nurse said. Then Gao Yuan leaned on a stick, limping to the hospital.
