Chapter 11 You Have Looked for Me
It was time to get off work, but all the people in the office were still staying at their desks without moving. Queenie asked curiously, "Aren't the working hours ended at six o'clock?"
"It says six o'clock but that's not when we leave? We do 996," said Kola.
"996?" Queenie guessed, "Is it from 9 o'clock in the morning to 9 o'clock in the evening? 6 days a week?"
"That's right. It's good that you know it!" Kola sighed. After a whole day's work, Kola found that although Queenie was older than him, she seemed to know nothing. He couldn't help but kindly remind her, "We are a private enterprise. If you don't work overtime, the boss will think that you don't have much work to do; if you don't work overtime, the boss will think that you don't love work; if you don't work overtime, the boss can't exploit you; if you don't work overtime, you will be fired."
"Oh, I understand!" Queenie nodded. "Since ancient times, the boss always liked employees to work overtime."
"But I don't have work to do now. Do I still have to sit here?" Queenie added.
