Like how we left our room, Klevon swoops into it through the window. He deposits me on the floor and I beam at him. I feel like it's the first time I smiled since I lost my baby.
"Thank you," I say.
Crouching on my windowsill, he says, "Turn around."
I did and I find Theo sitting on the chair of my study table. His eyes transfer from me to Klevon and back again.
"What is this? Where you've been?!" he asks, suspicious.
An introduction to his pain and anger. I shift my attention to Klevon and say, "You should leave."
"He is angry. I think I should stay."
