I flip the page of the thick book while I am sitting on the bed, with my back on the headboard. I am waiting for either sleep or Theo to come, whichever comes first. When I heard Theo's footsteps, I remove the blanket and place the book on my bedside table.
I watch Theo stride toward me. I grin, especially at the way he looks at me. Reaching my bed, he kisses me as I wrap my arms around his neck.
"How was your day?" I ask.
"Boring," he whispers, as he lightly nibbles on my neck. "And yours?"
"Still the same. Books with Harbin and physical training with Brandon," I say, intentionally not telling him about Klevon. "Ah! Tale and Khufu are teaching me more about etiquette."
He pulls back and studies my face. "Do you still enjoy your lessons?"
