Heather closed her eyes in relief as she rested her face on Kevin's shoulder. She felt thankful that she could rely on him. She lightly tapped his back to sort of give him a signal. He rubbed her back lightly as an answer. It was a good thing that he could pick up easily. She removed her head from his shoulder to look at him. If Blake was about 185 centimeters, Kevin was about 177. And unlike Eve's cousin, Kevin's body was not as hunky. She scolded herself. She shouldn't compare the two men. Kevin was a prospective friend while Blake was someone that she should steer clear of. He won't be good for her. Ever!
"Good morning hon." Kevin gave her a knowing smile .
Sam cleared her throat so they both looked her way.
The other woman was all smiles while Blake's expression was unreadable. His eyes weren't on them. He was looking straight ahead with a clenched jaw. She felt a bit relieved when she saw that they were not holding hands anymore. Again she wanted to reprimand herself.
"I didn't know that you already have a man Heather! Tsk! And I was planning to introduce you to someone."
Kevin took her hand and held it a little tightly.
"Weren't you surprised too babe?" Sam asked Blake in a husky voice but he didn't reply.
