She caught her breath when she saw how Blake's eyes turned into slits "B-But we weren't a couple. I didn't say yes to him. I threw all the gifts like flowers and chocolates he gave me and the others I gave away to my friends. Y-You can even ask Pauline and Rica s-sweetheart." she stammered.
Blake was furious, jealous and ready to be violent but he made a promise and he wouldn't break it. Heather told him that she would be a part-time model of that shop and that was fine with him. She also said that there would be times when she had to do some pictorials with that asshole boss of hers, he didn't like the set-up but he said okay. Anyway he could be present at the photoshoots. And if he saw one false move from that bastard, he would smack him and injure him badly. But the last thing she said angered him.
That dickhead was her suitor? Dammit! He angrily thought.
Now he knew why that asshole couldn't hide his admiration and desire for his woman. He was even jealous of him. He raked his fingers through his hair. Keeping his cool was extremely difficult.
"S-Sweetheart, d-do you want me to resign?" Heather asked. She remembered Stacey's advice. If her job will cause a rift between them she would resign.
Blake was taken aback with her question Will she really do that? Quit the job that she wanted for me? He asked himself.
If he would ask her to resign he would seem to be heartless. She said awhile ago that she trusted him so the least he could do is trust her too. He could trust her but not her boss. Anyway he would deal with him his way if it was needed. He would teach that bastard a lesson he won't forget if he did something unacceptable to his woman. With a heavy sigh, he pulled her towards him.
