It was silent at night, and the moonlight shone on the lake with a gentle halo. Moonshadow Mansion was located in the center of Moonshadow Lake, surrounded by lush green plants. They rustled while wind kissed the lake with light ripples.
Diana Swift had a nightmare.
She was entangled by it, and she couldn't get rid of it at all. Even she knew that she was dreaming, but her eyelids seemed to be stitched up, being unable to open.
At six o'clock in the morning, the sky was dim.
Diana Swift finally woke up from her dream.
Her pink silk nightgown was soaked in cold sweat, its back was darkened by a shade, and there was a little sweat on her neck and jaw.
