Chapter 4
Josh Hunter just chose his words casually. He was always busy with work. When he came out of Moonshadow Mansion, he left behind both his family and private affairs, not to mention reflecting on his words and taking care of the lady.
At two o'clock in the afternoon, there was a lot of traffic near the Financial Center in P City. The sun blazed overhead with the hot air blowing in the noon, scorching hot.
At work time after the lunch break, most of the white-collar workers walked back to the company in groups of three or two with take-out paper cups from nearby coffee shops.
Today was Friday, and everyone chatted and laughed about work gossip, being relaxed. Only two girls who worked in the Lux Hotel Group received the group notification. The smiles on their faces instantly faded away, and they hurried back to the company.
One girl's heels were too high for her to walk. She panted, "Why do they come so fast? Didn't they say they might not come today?"
The other girl could walk faster. She stopped and turned around to wait for her. Waving to her, she said "You also said it's just a possibility. If I can understand the minds of these people, then I'll go buy stocks blindly. Well, hurry up."
