The Sun No Longer Shines for You

Chapter 3

With that, Foster had already walked to the door.

As he was about to open the door, he stopped to look at me.

"There's a problem with the collaboration. I have to go deal with it now."

"You go to sleep first tonight. You don't have to wait for me."

Without waiting for my reply, he grabbed his coat and left in a hurry.

I sent the resignation letter I had written to HR's email.

I told her to remember to read it after returning home in three days after the team building.

Before long, I suddenly received a message from Skyler.

It was a photo of Foster busy cooking porridge in the kitchen.

"The baby is making a fuss. It became quiet as soon as the father came."

"Do you think this is the legendary blood bond?"

I ignored Skyler's provocation and blocked her directly.

I smiled self-deprecatingly and began packing my luggage.

The next morning, everyone's itinerary was free activities.

I planned to visit this town that I had always dreamed of coming to.

Walking on the road that looked like a fairy tale town.

Looking at the flowers, I didn't feel anything.

I smiled bitterly and felt a little relieved.

I didn't understand why I was so obsessed with coming here before.

After shopping, I bought a large bunch of flowers and was about to return to the hotel.

There was someone playing the piano and singing in the front Chinese restaurant.

It was the English song "I think I've seen this film before".

I raised my foot and wanted to continue walking, but the next moment I was nailed to the spot.

I heard the magnetic and deep voice, it was Foster.

At the end of the song, he finished the tone with a bit of laziness.

"Let's live with our loved ones in a happy town."

Foster used to wear suits, and rarely wore casual clothes.

But today, he dressed as youthful as a college student.

Looking deeply at the white moonlight he fell in love with at the age of eighteen.

My fingernails were deeply embedded in my palms.

Staring at Foster without blinking, I remembered that he hated singing English songs.

Once he and I went to a friend's birthday party.

In the ktv, I took the initiative to invite him to sing a song together.

He got angry on the spot, threw the microphone away and scolded me.

"Can you not be so childish? I hate singing the most!"

But now he sang affectionately for Skyler in full view of the public.

The atmosphere at the scene reached a climax, and there was warm applause around.

I clapped my hands, watching them kiss like a couple in love.

My eyes were red, and I walked towards the crowd step by step.

Seeing me appear, Foster's face changed instantly.

"Juniper, aren't you annoying? You have to follow me wherever I go!"

He thought I was following him, not concealing his disgust for me.

I smiled, "Didn't you say there was a problem with the company's cooperation?"

Pointing to the lipstick on his mouth.

"How? Is the cooperation that Mr. Foster said is kissing someone else?"
