Chapter 56 The Changed Dom
"You're scaring me, Butterfly. Please, tell me what is bothering you." I literally begged her.
She finally spoke up after coming out of my arms and looking at me. "Tomorrow is my Mom's birthday," she gave a pause to compose herself and continued, "and I can't wish her.
"Why?" I asked, confused.
"She is angry with me because I had done something against her will." She hiccuped.
"What?" I asked, having no clue.
"She wanted me to never leave India but I came to LA and didn't listen to her. She hasn't talked to me in years. I miss her a lot, Ethan. I wish she could understand me." She finally shared what's bothering her and I'm glad because now I can help her and console her.
