Emma, Karen and Monica were at Monica's food truck. They were taking a break after shopping for dresses for the wedding. Emma had just told them what happened between her and Daniel.
Emma cast a quick glance around the quiet, truck. "Could you please keep it down, you idiot". She glared at Karen, who, was impeccably dressed, perfectly groomed, not an ash-blond hair out of place. And looking every bit as put-together as Emma felt torn apart.
