Early in the morning, just after the rain had stopped, everyone from the magazine agency came to work one by one. They shook their umbrellas and patted their clothes as they entered, bringing a chill.
Vanessa Green hadn't slept well last night. When she woke up in the morning, she found herself a little haggard. Then she put on a mask for a while. So, she left the house late and walked into the office. She was almost late for work.
She was a little tired and completely unaware that Sophia Yost had looked at her several times.
Although Sophia Yost had no proof, she always felt that the person who stayed at Shawn Yeats's house last night was Vanessa Green.
It wasn't until noon when Sophia Yost went downstairs to get the lunch that the nanny had brought her that she heard a few people gossiping in the lounge area.
"Vanessa Green is too miserable, isn't she? She's had her manuscript returned several times by Mingyu."
