At noon, Natalie had dinner with Forrest as scheduled.
Forrest booked her favorite Kolby-style restaurant. Forrest was finally able to spare some time to be alone with her. After the meal, Forrest drove her back to the hospital.
His phone was left in the car seat. A call came in suddenly, Forrest casually picked up and turned on the speaker.
The caller asked where he was.
Natalie felt the voice sounded familiar and thought it was some rich guy who was at dinner parties.
Forrest said he had just finished dinner with his girlfriend.
