Humane Society of Summit County: Has reduced adoption fees to $50 for dogs and $10 for cats during the Coronavirus emergency. HSSC is currently limiting intake strictly to those animals from Summit County that are sick or injured, or victims of abuse or neglect. Call 330-405-0620.

Wayne County Humane Society: Is open but asks the public to refrain from visiting the shelter unless you have an approved adoption application. Applications are good for 90 days). If you find a stray cat or would like to surrender an animal, contact the shelter to set up an appointment.
