When Shawn Kijewski received an opportunity in 2016 to become the director of strength and conditioning at Cimarron High School, he packed up his bags and moved from Detroit to Las Vegas. Little did he know it would take nearly two years before he would find home sweet home.
“I moved four times in two years, renting in different parts of the valley until my desire to find a permanent home became a top priority,” Kijewski said. “Even though interest rates continue to rise, they are still relatively low and there isn’t a better time to buy a home than now. I’ve always loved the dynamic culture and energy of downtown Las Vegas, so finding a home here was my first choice.
