Altaire Pharmaceuticals is recalling 30 over-the-counter products sold at CVS due to sterility concerns.
Among the affected products are eye ointments, dry-eye relief eyedrops and preservative-free eyedrops.
“Administration of a nonsterile product intended to be sterile may result in serious and potentially life-threatening infections or death,” the recall notice reads.
