New Delhi: India has given the world various beautiful- both inside and outside Miss Worlds from 1966 to 2017, last year when Manushi Chillar brought the crown back after seventeen years. This year, the beautiful Anukreethy Vas is representing India at the Miss World contest. All these women are an epitome of good health and fit bodies and work extremely hard to stay that way.
These beauty queens follow rigorous diet plans and fitness regimes. Following a diet plan and knowing the right work out for your body type is very essential in reaching the body goals you have for yourself. Here are a few tips from the former Miss Worlds from India on how you can get a body like theirs.
Manushi Chillar (Miss World 2017)
Apart from Yoga and Pilates which are her go-to workouts, Manushi is very mindful of what she eats. With the high-intensity workout, Manushi ate a high-protein diet divided between 6 meals during the day while she was preparing for the Miss World contest. Her diet included yogurt, nuts, fresh fruits and cereals for breakfast, chapatis and rice with vegetables, and salad for lunch, fruit smoothies or fresh cut vegetables with dips for an evening snack, and another salad or soup for dinner. Priyanka Chopra (Miss World, 2000)
Priyanka Chopra, now Priyanka Chopra Jonas, was crowned Miss World in 2000. She has never gained too much weight since then and has always been fit and fab and the world is wondering how. Though a foodie at heart who loves desi home-cooked food, she knows very well when and how she needs to turn her diet healthy. Priyanka steers away from oily food and includes a lot of vegetables and fresh fruits in her diet. She eats on an interval of two to three hours to ensure that her metabolism stays active. Yukta Mookhey (Miss World, 1999)
Just one year before Priyanka Chopra, Yukta Mookhey brought the Miss. World crown home. Her diet plan is important to note as it highlights what can happen if dieting goes wrong. Three years after being crowned Miss World, Yukta discovered that her very firm diet regime was making her weak and deficient. She then took to a healthy diet that focused more on the strength in her body than on the way she looked.
